Big Buddy Program Hosts 19th Annual Day of the Mentor

This upcoming Friday, October 20th, Baton Rouge’s Big Buddy Program will be hosting an event to bring awareness to the importance and benefits of mentorship. Officially titles as the 19th Annual Day of the Mentor, the event will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m at Boudreaux’s.
Baton Rouge’s Big Buddy will motivate the community to become more involved with our youth through trusted personal relationships. This event will spark change and inspire us to assist in guiding our community’s youth to make wise decisions for their lives.

This event seeks to equip young people with the knowledge to advance and the tools to succeed is essential. Join the Big Buddy Program this Friday and inspire someone to turn their dream into their reality; and allow them the opportunity to embrace their personal journey and prepare to decide on a career.
Mentorship is rewarding. It is an investment of time that promotes personal and professional growth by sewing seeds of excellence into a young person’s life. One day, these same young people will contribute to our workforce and our society. With the right guidance, they will lead the way and be the change agents for the world.
It takes a village to raise a child and here is your chance to do your part.  If you wish to give back to the community, attend this event to  learn more about mentorship. Through Baton Rouge Big Buddy,  you have the opportunity to assist in eliminating poverty and crime with the power of kindness, support, and communication.
