Live After 5 

featuring Larry Garner 

Starting at 5:00pm and ending at 8:00pm Larry Garner and The Boogaloo Blues Band will be performing in Repentance Park, downtown Baton Rouge. Larry is a five-time Blues Music Award nominee, once for Most Promising Artist, and four times for Contemporary Male Blues Artist.

Theatre Baton Rouge’s ‘ TheRocky Horror Show’

Come along for the ride with Brad and Janet in this classic, cult show.  When their flat tire leads them on trip into a “Time Warp” these young people experience that life and love is not what they thought it was and that appearances can be both confusing and deceiving.  Join the fun of audience participation with this campy salute to horror movies. This play is rated R for adult audiences. The show will run from October 19-28, 2017 with an 8:00 PM showtime and midnight performance on October 28th.

Hollydays: Shopping For A Cause

Saturday, October 21, 2017 at the Raising Cane’s River Center general shopping from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.will be open to the public. When you “Shop for a Cause” you support the Junior League’s outreach to dynamic programming initiatives and their mission-based training programs.

Boo At The Zoo

Sunday, October 29, 2017 is apart of the kickoff weekend for  BREC’s  Boo At the Zoo.  You and your family are invited to dress up and enjoy a merry-not-scary trick-or-treating extravaganza. Participants should wear their best costumes and visit treat stations throughout the Zoo, take a ride on the Spooky Train Ride or wander through the merry-not-scary Hay Maze and Enchanted Swamp. Regular Zoo admission applies. Admission gates open 9:30am – 4:00pm. Grounds close at 5pm. For More information visit
